Insert the prepared USB flash drive into an open USB port on your CP Plus DVR or NVR.
Open Internet Explorer or a compatible browser and log into your device's web interface. Go to > System > Upgrade .
There are two reliable methods to flash the new firmware onto your device. Choose the method that best matches your technical comfort level.
If the unit is not on a network:

If the downloaded firmware is in a .zip or .rar archive, extract it. Copy the .bin or .dav file directly to the root directory of your USB drive (do not put it inside a folder).
