Shogakkou no Hibi: School Days New (literally “Elementary School Days: School Days New”) is a fan-made or indie visual novel that reimagines or expands upon the themes of the original School Days series, but set in an elementary school environment. The title evokes both innocence ( shogakkou = elementary school) and the familiar dramatic/romantic tension of the School Days universe.
The story follows Makoto Ito, a first-year student at Sakaki Academy, who becomes infatuated with a shy and beautiful classmate named Kotonoha Katsura.
