The board features internal USB headers to expand your available ports via the case front panel or internal card readers. Each header supports two independent USB 2.0 ports.
If the system freezes during basic use, the thermal interface material under the passive Northbridge heatsink has likely dried out. Remove the plastic push-pins holding the heatsink, clean the chip with isopropyl alcohol, apply a fresh drop of thermal paste, and re-secure the heatsink.
